About The Company:

Join a dynamic and ambitious consulting firm at the forefront of the financial services and technology sector. With a global presence and a history of consistent revenue growth, they specialise in providing cutting-edge solutions within the fintech sector. As the company continue to expand rapidly, Hawkwood are thrilled to be seeking a skilled and motivated People Business Partner with a passion for Learning and Development on their behalf to join the rapidly growing People team.

Your Role:

As a People Business Partner with a focus on Learning and Development, you will be a pivotal member of the People team, contributing to the growth and success of the business. You will play a key role in refining the existing graduate scheme, enhancing the training curriculum, and guiding the professional development of their diverse international teams.

As you and the company grow, you will have the option to either lead the Learning and Development function, or become a more general and diversified People Partner of a specific Business Unit, depending on your interest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with delivery teams to refine and optimise the graduate scheme, ensuring its effectiveness and alignment with business needs.
  • Drive the coordination, negotiation, and successful implementation of the training curriculum, focusing on skill-building and career progression for employees.
  • Work closely with managers to develop individualised career development plans for each team member, identifying training needs and growth opportunities.
  • Coach and train managers to effectively lead their teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Identify areas for training and development across diverse geographies and departments, building a comprehensive and well-timed curriculum.
  • Manage a balanced workload between Learning and Development initiatives and generalist People Business Partner responsibilities.
  • As the organization matures, transition seamlessly into either a broader HR Business Partner role or a more specific Learning and Development role.

Candidate Profile:

  • Extensive experience in Learning and Development and HR Business Partner roles, ideally within consulting or a professional services industry.
  • Project management skills are a must: capable of refining and enhancing existing programs while aligning them with business objectives.
  • Proven track record of driving successful training and development initiatives, ideally with a global and diverse workforce.
  • International exposure a plus: comfortable working with diverse teams and catering to different geographical and departmental needs.
  • Initiative-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can make an impact from day one.
  • Trustworthy and collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
  • Open to travel as needed for initiatives and interactions with different teams.

Logistics:

  • Location: High Barnet, North London (Hybrid work model – 2 days in office, minimum 1 day). Please note, the office is roughly a half an hour walk from High Barnet station. There is free parking onsite, so access to a car may be necessary.
  • Compensation: £65,000 – £70,000 per annum with a 10% performance-based bonus.
  • Benefits: Evolving benefits package including pension, gym membership, mobile expenses, and opportunities for international travel.
