This is the a very hands on Head of HR role where your main task is to define, create and implement the entire HR strategy for a 400+ strong headcount across the UK and Europe.

You will have the support of 2 HR admins and a Training and Learning Manager who will report into you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating a wonderful workplace with a positive culture.
  • Working alongside the Training and Learning Manager to create a training and development pathway for all.
  • Developing a talent retention strategy and reducing employee churn.
  • Creation and implementation of onboarding process which will be executed by the HR Admins.
  • Oversee all recruitment.
  • Providing all regular guidance and training for managers and employees.
  • Ensuring all UK compliance, law and regulations are adhered to.
  • Working with the Learning and Development Manager to create a succession plan.
  • Creating a rewards and benefits programme that celebrates top-performers.
  • Reviewing and analysing of People data and metrics, and presenting this back to the SLT and Board of Directors.
  • Using PeopleHR to streamline HR processes.
  • Creating a performance management system that allows for two-way feedback between team members and their managers, goal setting and evaluations.

You Will Have

  • Significant experience within a Head of HR generalist role
  • Knowledge of EU employment law
  • Experience within the construction industry
  • Leadership and management experience.
  • Excellent data analysis skills
  • Level 5 CIPD, or HR Degree.
