About the role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join as their Senior People Partner to take the people agenda to the next level. They’re a fast-growing, ambitious business and they’re creating an environment in which their people will thrive.

You will join their People and Talent team of four and will have the opportunity to drive and support on various People related activities across their people agenda. Together with their People & Legal Director, you will create and take ownership of launching strategic people initiatives that will enable their continued growth and ensure their people processes and operations deliver a best-in-class service!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Strategic People Partnership – work with the leadership team and business leaders, to design, launch and operationalise key strategic people projects such performance management, compensation & benefits/career frameworks as well as culture and engagement initiatives.
  • Change Management – lead change management efforts related to people projects, ensuring effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and seamless implementation.
  • Process Excellence – Create and embed seamless people processes and optimise the use of their HRIS platform.
  • Talent Management and Succession Planning – collaborate with the business to identify and retain talent, lead talent development initiatives, and succession planning efforts.
  • Data-Led Driven Decision-Making – utilize metrics and data analytics to inform decisions, track project progress, and measure the impact of people initiatives on business outcomes.
  • Employee Engagement and Development – own their culture and engagement agenda as well as design and deliver on an employee experience fit for a scaling, high growth business.
  • Compliance and employee relations – ensure they comply with their legal and regulatory obligations. Be an escalation point for employee relations issues as they arise.
  • Team Management – Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to junior people team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

What we need from you:

  • Experience working in a scale up environment, you will need to demonstrate an understanding of the people challenges you will face in a scaling business.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and positively influence the business in the implementation of core people strategy elements and deliverables
  • Comfortable using data to support decision making around people topics
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
  • Be excited about the difference great business partnering can make to organisations
  • Resilience and adaptability, the business is fast paced with ever evolving priorities
