Our client is a purpose-driven climate tech company set to revolutionise a new breed of climate adaptation software by changing the way the world manages the impact of climate change. The business has some really exciting expansion plans, as it is set to double their headcount over the next 12-18 months!

About the role
Reporting directly to co-founder & CEO, the VP of People, Culture and Talent will have a defining and important role that will shape the company’s culture, values, and workforce strategy as they continue to grow. Your contributions will be instrumental in driving the company’s ambitious expansion plans and shaping its success.

- Building the infrastructure that enables them to successfully hire, retain and grow exceptional talent into the organisation across all seniority levels.
- Implementing, monitoring, and delivering tools + systems/programmes and solutions that enable them to create and maintain a world-class culture – they want to magnetise the best, and diverse talents from wherever they are to join their mission
- Leadership team coaching and ensure collaboration is embedded and strong across the organisation
- Develop a strong employer brand in the marketplace to attract top talent
- Gain actionable feedback to measurably improve employee satisfaction
- Seen as a valued contributor to and member of the leadership team
- Develop and implement structured training plans including deployment of LMS
To set you up for success, we're looking for the following skills and experience...
- Set up and delivered People strategy from scratch in a high-growth tech company
- Proven track record of setting both strategy and executing in a lean, agile way. Demonstrable appetite to roll up sleeves and achieve in a focused way, whilst keeping an eye on a bigger vision
- Leave ego at the door and demonstrate the willingness to learn, think outside of the box and take risks
- Demonstrable organisational and operating development experience involving the design and implementation of successful programmes to upskill and develop talent and organisational efficacy while scaling
- Knowing when and how to use data to inform decision making
- Storytelling and communication on the business value created by the People Function
- Demonstrable understanding of embedding strong operating practices, eg OKRs
- Degree and/or CIPD qualification (nice to have)
