Hawkwood is currently partnering with a B2B Saas Start-up, who are looking to hire for their first Talent Acquisition Manager.

This is a career-defining opportunity to be the first Talent Acquisition Manager for a growing start-up, who have a fantastic culture, strong employee value proposition and ambitious plans.

This is far more than just an ‘Internal Recruiter’, you will be responsible for the complete talent proposition, including; employer branding, hiring strategies, talent attraction activities, talent pooling and various other projects.

The role

  • Understand the current and future talent needs across the business
  • Work closely with the senior leadership team and hiring managers on hiring plans, creating hiring campaigns and identifying & developing the most appropriate recruitment channels
  • Carrying out best in class direct sourcing and headhunting activity to build strong pipelines in order to hire great people quickly
  • Involved in 360 degree recruiting from sourcing to advertising, interviews to referencing and ensuring an amazing offer process for new hires
  • Working as part of the people team to ensure a seamless handover to the People Experience Manager to support with onboarding of new joiners.
  • Use creative ideas to drive their employer brand into the market

Required experience

  • Solid and established, demonstrable experience sourcing candidates for a wide variety of roles and at all levels of a business, within a SaaS company/tech start-up and high growth business environment
  • You’re a brilliant marketer as it relates to talent acquisition; you’re a passionate advocate for employer brand with lots of ideas you can’t wait to bring to the table
  • An ability to understand technical concepts & communicate with highly technical individuals
  • A reliable and effective business partner; you are able to support hiring managers from a variety of departments, coaching them on what good looks like, giving feedback in a safe and supportive way to ensure that interview processes and candidate experience are always top-notch!
