This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growth Digital Media brand based in Central London on a project-basis to help take their Inclusion efforts to the next level.
With a fairly even gender split, and roughly 40% of their staff coming from BAME backgrounds, one could say this ambitious, creative business are doing everything right.
However, they are seeking to become a D&I leader in their field, paving the way for others to follow, through removing unconscious bias and ensuring that the under-represented groups among their employee-base are given adequate support to advance their career within the business, as well as being paid and rewarded fairly.
With that in mind, this role is very-much focused on talent management initiatives, ongoing cultural development work (removing unconscious bias) and employee wellbeing support.
Skills and Experience:
This project-based opportunity will suit an individual with a Generalist HR background and a specialisation in diversity & inclusion projects within a Creative/Digital SME.
Whilst an inclusive approach to hiring will continue to be a priority, this is an area they are already performing very well at, so the emphasis in this project will be weighted more towards the talent development piece.
For this reason, a Recruiter who has managed D&I projects is likely to have insufficient experience for this particular piece of work, whilst not denying they could still add a great deal of value.
The successful applicant will be available to start this project immediately and will have recent experience in a smaller creative or digital business.
