A fast-growth London-based Technology scale-up are seeking a Head of Talent Acquisition, reporting in to the Chief People Officer and overseeing a small TA team.


Our client have developed an innovative Machine Learning-driven SaaS product which brings a novel approach to a huge but traditional industry. Launched by serial entrepreneurs, this business has already obtained significant traction and their client list includes globally recognised brands.

You will oversee a growing Talent Acquisition team, helping them to develop and expand both domain and technical recruitment expertise. You will ensure their hiring processes are lean without compromising on quality and work with leaders across the business to continuously improve their hiring practices.

Role Scope:

  • Oversee recruitment, working with the People team and leaders to prioritise and plan for hiring activity across the business
  • Provide exceptional leadership to a talented group of recruitment folks, helping them to unlock immediate challenges and develop their skills in the long-term
  • Partner with leadership on executive searches, owning and managing end to end hiring processes and working with executive search partners to build out the Strategy & Operations layer
  • Diversify the representation of underrepresented folks in their hiring pipelines, helping to establish strong ties to external talent pools and ensure their talent attraction efforts are inclusive
  • Develop clear and insightful recruitment reporting that enables the business to make better decisions around ongoing and future hiring
  • Work in partnership with the Marketing team to strengthen and improve their employer brand including the Attest career page, LinkedIn jobs and Glassdoor
  • Build recruitment processes and optimise hiring platforms to help hiring managers recruit at speed whilst upholding the highest standard of candidate experience
  • Partner with the People team to ensure the experience of the candidate carries over to the onboarding journey, setting new hires up for success

About you:

  • You have demonstrable experience of managing a recruitment team, developing a recruitment team and deepening the relationships of the team to the business
  • You will have recent experience recruiting Technical talent in to a SaaS business
  • You have run and managed executive searches and are confident working with experienced hires
  • You are excited by business growth and have experience of scaling businesses through hiring, ideally having worked within a SaaS or technology business
  • You are someone who enjoys working with data and is comfortable being led by the objectivity it brings. You understand that data is an essential key for unlocking decisions and elevating the way businesses enhance the experience of the candidate
  • You enjoy establishing and enhancing cross-functional and integrated ways of working, recognising the value of the entirety of an organisation
  • You are a leader who inspires through participation and vision whilst creating the correct conditions for thoughtful innovation, delivery and alignment
  • You are curious and possess critical rigour in your way of thinking. You ask thoughtful questions, naturally able to develop solutions from a position of insight and knowledge
  • You are a confident and thoughtful communicator, able to adapt your style to different audiences and in different contexts
