We have an exciting opportunity for a people focused HR Advisor, who is looking for their next challenge at a leading global communications business for the modern life sciences era.

 

The business, private equity-backed, have currently got a global headcount of 1300 employees but are looking to more than double this by the end of 2021.

This is a unique opportunity to join an ambitious People function who are looking to drive this organisation to the next level, whilst supporting their ambitious growth plans. You will be partnering closely with their Global Commercial team and Group functions.

Alongside managing day to day HR activities, you will be getting involved in lots of project work, such as employee relations and employee experience projects, which will contribute to the execution of their People & Talent strategy.

Role Scope:

  • Provide key support to our team of HR Business Partners and the talent team
  • Effectively partner with operational managers to manage employee relations and provide guidance on all HR related matters on an ad hoc basis
  • Provide research, insight, and ideas on departmental programs and initiatives
  • Develop ongoing Wellness program tasks
  • Report on new starter trends and work with HRBP’s and relevant stakeholders on new starter experience and process improvement
  • Support on investigations, disciplinaries an appeals, ensuring any advice given is legally sound and delivered in a prompt manner

About you:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling you to have a credible impact on the business
  • Good, proven relationship building capability
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • CIPD full or part qualified
  • Driven and determined
  • 2+ years HR experience
  • Experience in advising managers on employee relations issues
  • Eager to learn with a willingness to drive new process and champion new systems and procedures
