Hawkwood are helping a rapid-growth Marketing Technology business based in London in their search for a new People Operations Manager.

 

Our client currently employ around 350 ppl in the UK and plan to grow to over 500 ppl in the next 12-18 months! With a phenomenal reputation within Growth Marketing, our innovative, ambitious client have signed up an impressive client list and have acquired and integrated some promising start-ups to complement their offering.

Our client are operating a hybrid working style with approx. 3 days p/week in their London office.

Role Scope:

This ambitious scale-up are building out a specialist People team, led by an impressive Chief People Officer. With an innovative approach to People Management, they are developing a central People Operations team to assume responsibility for People Product Development.

 

This team will be populated with creative minds, tasked with productising the employee experience through bespoke, customer-oriented initiatives to be rolled out across the business.

You will be an integral part of the People Operations function acting as a mentor and escalation point for more junior members of the team. Continuous process improvement and further development of scalable solutions is at the core of this role! You will support the People Operations Director with company benefits planning, people analytics, process and procedure and all operational HR needs.

 

 

You will be responsible for:

 

  • Building and delivering a high performing HR operations function that reflects our
  • company culture and employment law.
  • Providing top-tier support and advice to our business when employees have
  • queries, issues or concerns.
  • Delivering thoughtful and well structured guidance on policies and procedures

 

People Advisor:

  • First line of contact for any UK+ROW based People systems, policy or benefit queries.
  • Support the Business Partnering team and People Operations Director with employee relation
  • matters ensuring that both policy and best practice are maintained
  • Provide quality and consistent HR service to employees and stakeholders through the entire
  • employee lifecycle.

 

HRIS & People Systems:

  • Maintaining data of our HRIS and other People Systems, ensuring that information is complete
  • and accurate and creating slick self-service and request services to update information in line
  • with needs
  • Continually finding opportunities to create better integrations between systems to reduce
  • admin hours and opportunities for data errors
  • Support People Operations Director during M&A tasks with data migration and system
  • onboarding and training.

 

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Create and provide various kinds of analytics and reports for stakeholders to provide people
  • insights, trends and feedback
  • Work with the Business Partnering team to help provide data and analytics to help support
  • them in their conversations with senior leadership and hive leads

 

Payroll & Benefits:

    • Managing the delivery and maintenance of all payroll and benefits processes and ensuring that
    • data is provided accurately and in a timely manner
    • Development of proposals for continuous improvement of current benefit offering.

About you:

  • This role is suited to a People Operations Manager within a progressive, people-oriented business renowned for delivering a first-class employee experience, or a creative People Generalist with a product-mindset and strong analytical skills
