Hawkwood are delighted to be supporting a people-centric, rapid-growth, London based Tech scale-up to recruit for their first ever People Partner.

The role reports in to an ex-Google Head of People who is seeking to build an innovative team of passionate culture and talent development champions.

This growing international SaaS business has an impressive client list including names such as Microsoft and Transferwise. Their product is successfully disrupting a traditional industry and they are now about to embark on their Series B raise, which will be completed by the summer.

This is an exciting opportunity to help create a People function within a high-growth business that places invests in, trusts and empowers their team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

● Work with managers and leaders to accelerate manager capability whilst acting as a trusted partner on the full spectrum of People activity

● Identify development needs and manage performance challenges at both individual and team level, working with the Head of People and VP Operations to develop growth programmes that support broad organisational improvement

● Expand and maintain the onboarding programme, optimising for both fast impact and exceptional employee experience

● Oversee our Career Growth programmes, identifying opportunities for improvements and enhancing the overall impact of our bi-annual review cycle

● Ensure all People programmes and approaches are inherently inclusive and foster a strong community of belonging

● Take ownership of employee relations matters, ensuring that managers are supported across team-level change and with individual challenges

● Partner closely with the Central Operations teams on cross-functional projects and programmes that support our people

● Manage the international mobility programme, working with external vendors and partners and providing guidance to managers and employees throughout the relocation process

● Work with the Head of People to maintain, review and iterate compensation benchmarking and reward frameworks

● Support the VP Operations and Head of People with MI reporting including Inclusion & Belonging analytics

ABOUT YOU

  • You will have recent generalist People/HR experience within a technology/digital-first business
  • You will have worked in a small-to-medium sized business with a track record of implementing new initiatives from scratch
  • You will have strong operational HR experience including robust, hands-on experience with ER
  • You will be a creative problem-solver who is comfortable with change and used to working at pace
