We’re working with a disruptive, rapid-growth PropTech start-up who are looking to revolutionise the way businesses operate through their elegant workspace solution. The business has recently secured an impressive seed funding round and are looking to double their headcount this year.
They are now looking to make their first official talent hire into the business to help realise their ambitious growth plans. Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer, this person will be responsible for scaling all functions of the business, tech and non-tech. This is a newly created role and a real ‘greenfield’ opportunity that will allow you to grow with the business and build the talent function from scratch.

In the role, you will:

  • Be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment of all roles tech (Engineering, Data & Product) and non-tech (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal).
  • Build and implement recruitment systems and processes designed to attract and engage the best calibre candidates.
  • Develop an employer brand strategy and begin to raise awareness through consistent communication on multiple platforms.
  • Train and advise hiring managers on successful and effective recruitment practices.
  • Hold detailed interviews to truly understand the candidate’s suitability.
  • Provide smart, concise reporting to your key partners.
  • Use data to your advantage, implementing the right ATS and processes for the business

About you:

  • You will have recent experience recruiting tech or commercial (sales, CS, marketing) roles via direct channels.
  • You will ideally have a mix of agency and internal recruitment experience.
  • You will ideally have experience working in a tech start-up.
  • You are a confident and clear communicator who is effective at building stakeholder relationships.
  • You are highly organised, able to prioritise effectively and act autonomously.
  • You are a true believer in positive candidate experience.
  • You are capable of building new processes independently.
