Hawkwood are helping a rapid-growth Technology scale-up based in London in their search for a new Talent Operations Manager to join their expanding Talent Acquisition team.


Our client have recently closed a $150m Series C fundraise to fuel their expansion from 400 to 1000 employees over the next 2 years. They are known for offering a fantastic, people-centric culture (4.3/5 on Glassdoor) and highly flexible working with a remote-first option.

Needless to say, growth of this magnitude fuels the need to build high-quality, scalable Talent Acquisition processes and, thus, the decision has been made to hire their first Talent Operations Manager.


Reporting in to the Head of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Operations will assume responsibility for an international remit, working as part of a Talent Acquisition team.

Role Scope:

As Talent Operations Manager, you will:


    • Act as product owner for our end to end talent acquisition tech stack, including sourcing, and implementation of new tools and regular reviews of all tools performance
    • Strengthen our reporting measures through dashboards, visualisations, defining key analytics measures and crafting narratives behind TA data that can be shared across the business
    • Lead change management initiatives including hiring best practices, micro and macro-process changes, identifying root causes and gaps and suggesting improvements
    • Collaborate closely with People Tech and People Ops to ensure all integrations to the overall HRIS architecture are in place and that data is transferred seamlessly across all products
    • Support the wider TA team through team trainings, process documentation and the facilitation of knowledge sharing

About you:

  • You will be either a Talent Acquisition Manager with extensive process implementation experience and comfortable with data and systems, or, an Operations person with an interest in talent acquisition
  • Recent experience in a progressive, growing technology business is preferred
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Existing knowledge of talent acquisition technologies and wider HR tech stacks is preferred but not essential
  • Able to compile reports and present data in a visually appealing, easy-to-interpret way
  • A self-starter who is comfortable working under high levels of autonomy
  • Conscientious and diligent in your approach to building processes and implementing them
  • Effective in written communication to enrol the wider business in newly-developed ways of working
  • A high level of fluency in English (written and spoken)
