Hawkwood are partnering with a forefront climate-tech start-up to find Talent Partners (Tech & Business)! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐ŸŒฟ
Our client found that many organisations in the past made attempts to offset their emissions but they had no way of knowing if they were making a true difference to the environment or were investing in a genuine project. So our client made use of advanced machine learning techniques, to use satellite data, to quantify with unprecedented accuracy the amount of carbon stored in landscapes! ๐Ÿ“Š
In short, this allows them to offer a way for companies to consciously make a difference. They use this software to provide impartial information, which allows their clients to assess the credibility of projects that companies affiliate with. They also provide insight on which off-set projects they may want to divert resources to.
Founded in 2020, our client is currently at a headcount of 60, aiming to double by the end of 2022. This isย THEย opportunity to join a meaningful organisation at a key stage in its scaling. They are currently fundraising their Seed Fund Series A, and expect to close their fundraising by the end of the year. This round has been backed by many established silicon valley investors! ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ’ป
Their vision is to provide transparency and underpin functioning voluntary carbon markets. This will allow the market to scale to keep the planet under 2C of warming, and unlock huge co-benefits for nature and society!! ๐ŸŒŽ
They are looking for both a Technical Recruiter and a Business Recruiter. In the role you will be at the forefront of interacting with candidates and hiring managers, identifying exceptional talent and helping the team develop a world class end to end hiring process to excel their ambitious growth plans. ๐ŸŒณ๐Ÿ˜

Role Scope:

  • You will be shaping the growth of the company through hiring exceptional people to join their team
  • Youโ€™ll source talent across multiple disciplines and be the touchpoint for candidates throughout the process
  • You’ll help build a world-class candidate experience along with other key internal recruiting processes
  • You’ll use good data, wisely, to shape their recruiting strategy
  • Youโ€™ll establish and maintain meaningful relationships across stakeholders internally
  • Youโ€™ll look to increase their employer brand awareness, to support the engagement process

About you:

  • You have 1-2 years recruiting experience (in-house or agency experience), ideally with an experience of recruiting tech-related roles
  • You are skilled in full cycle recruitment – from sourcing through qualification, interview and close
  • You have a demonstrable passion for delivering an amazing experience for candidates of all backgrounds
  • You care about the future of the planet – you want to solve climate change in the most high leverage way possible
