Hawkwood are helping an innovative Technology business in their search for a new Technical Recruiter! 🚀 Our client is dedicated to and heavily investing in their defence and national security business. Currently they are working with massive scale simulations, AI and distributed compute technology to aid on global scales.

 

They are going through rapid growth, aiming to grow their division in London by approximately 150 by the end of 2021! 🔥 This is an opportunity to play a critical role in the success of a new business within a larger organisation – a HUGE opportunity to grow professionally.

You will join a team of experienced recruiters, working to clear targets, in an environment where Talent is an important driver of business success. You will be reporting directly to a lead recruiter, who will help grow your skills and experience and will own your career development.

 

This role is based in London, UK. However, they are extremely flexible and work on a hybrid basis.

Role scope:

  • Work across the full life cycle of the recruiting process including sourcing, interviewing and closing candidates
  • Share their story to the wider candidate world; what they are building, the problems they solve, their culture and EVP (employer value proposition)
  • Participate in special projects, including getting involved in D&I initiatives, assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent, leveraging their referral scheme, refining their onboarding
  • Be a builder at heart, you like the opportunity of having tons of exposure, making things work for a company long term, and have an entrepreneurial attitude for anything that comes your way.

About you:

    • 2+ years experience sourcing and hiring impressive technical talent either in-house or at an agency.
    • You are able to think strategically and creatively to develop effective, relevant and broad sourcing strategies to satisfy difficult to fill roles – such as via Github, LinkedIn, Stack Overflow etc.
    • You have a track record of hiring different types of roles across Engineering (Backend, Frontend, Fullstack, Engineering Manager), Product and Design as well as different levels of seniority.
