Hawkwood are currently working with one of the top systematic trading firms who are looking to hire a People Operations Associate. Our client has c180 employees based across London, New York and Singapore. The majority of their employees are based in London, but they are in process of building out their international offices.

About the role:

Working closely with their People Ops Lead and People Ops Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting their global workforce, ensuring employees and new hires are being effectively supported and have an industry topping employee experience. You will own processes across compensation, benefits, mobility, payroll and have the opportunity to be a key influencing factor in the early stages of building out a world class People Operations function.

Their employee experience is vital to get right and you will be a large voice in ensuring that. There will also be plenty of opportunities to work on projects more broadly as the team and company continue to evolve.

*Our client would be looking for someone to be in the office 3 days a week. Their office is based in the City of London.

• Evolving their global benefits offering from competitor research to execution of new benefits to ensure they are leaders in their industry.
• Partnering with the People Ops lead on data analysis and people analytics reporting around the health of the organisation.
• Brainstorming broader Strategic Growth project ideas to further enhance the employee experience.
• Running monthly payroll, and annual bonus cycle, supporting any audit requirements such as annual p11D
• Enrolment and management of pension and benefits administration, working with 3rd party providers where relevant
• Support global mobility including facilitating visa processes, global mobility policy development and providing relocation support.

About You:

• Passion for improving the employee experience through People Operations.
• A strong background in People Operations (Payroll, People Analytics, Reward and Global Mobility).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive positive change and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Passion for the organization’s mission and values.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, scaling business is preferred
